Description

Lead large-scale projects and serve as the primary liaison between project teams and stakeholders.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage resource-loaded, leveled projects and associated spend plans.
• Maintain project metrics, artifacts, and documentation in compliance with PMO standards and Chapter 60GG-1, F.A.C.
• Lead business requirement gathering sessions for JADs and document As-Is and To-Be processes.
• Provide regular progress reports and briefings to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, issues, and the implementation of business process improvement recommendations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale projects involving multiple diverse teams.
• 5+ years of experience setting up and managing a Project Management Office (PMO).
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Jira to track project progress.
• 5+ years of experience developing detailed project plans based on work breakdown structures.
• 5+ years of experience with risk and issue management and meeting facilitation.
• Project Management Professional (PMI PMP) certification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis).
• Proficiency in SDLC templates and PMO methodologies.
• Ability to complete a Level II Background Check.

Preferred Skills

• Agile or Scrum certification.
• ITIL Service Management Foundations certification.
• Experience with state government projects or managing projects in compliance with Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C.
