Description

You will drive automation efforts for web applications, APIs, and backend systems using Python. You will execute in-sprint testing with an 80% automation and 20% manual split. You will design complex hybrid tests by analyzing data flows between internal and external applications. You will maintain SDLC documentation including test cases, automation scripts, and business requirement documents. You will perform negative testing to identify system vulnerabilities and edge cases. You will collaborate with US/UK-based teams to define requirements and test implementations.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-sprint testing with an 80% automation and 20% manual split.
• Design complex hybrid tests by analyzing data flows between internal and external applications.
• Maintain SDLC documentation including test cases, automation scripts, and business requirement documents.
• Perform negative testing to identify system vulnerabilities and edge cases.
• Collaborate with US/UK-based teams to define requirements and test implementations.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in software testing.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Python and the pytest framework.
• Proficiency in API, web application, and backend automation.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium, web elements, and object identification.
• Experience with Git or Bitbucket for code repository management.
• Ability to use Linux commands and debug web applications.
• Competency in SQL commands and database testing using SQL Server.
• Experience with parallel and cross-browser testing tools like Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, Selenoid, or LambdaTest.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and various testing types including Integration, System, and Regression.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Playwright-Python and performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
• Hands-on work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and data visualization tools like Grafana or Kibana.
