Description

Design and maintain scalable serverless backend solutions on AWS using Python.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage serverless applications using AWS Lambda and AppSync.
• Design data models and integrate with DynamoDB and S3 for storage and retrieval.
• Implement and manage APIs using AWS API Gateway.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using AWS CloudFormation.
• Configure event-driven architecture using AWS EventBridge and Route 53.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and AppSync.
• Proficiency in AWS DynamoDB and S3.
• Experience with AWS Glue and Athena for ETL and analytics.
• Strong understanding of serverless architecture and event-driven design.
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade AWS environments.
• Ability to manage IAM roles and policies for secure resource access.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (ECS/EKS).
