Description

You will design, develop, and optimize backend systems powering a next-gen AI-powered CAD software platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable backend services in Python (FastAPI) for large datasets and multi-user workloads.
• Implement multi-tenant access control (RBAC/ABAC) to enforce fine-grained permissions across projects.
• Design service-to-service communication involving CAD Core APIs, AI Engine, and Kafka.
• Manage file storage and processing pipelines for CAD/3D files, handling large binary data.
• Develop real-time collaboration features, including concurrency handling and conflict resolution.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Python and FastAPI.
• Proven experience designing scalable systems using microservices and async processing.
• Hands-on experience with cloud deployments on AWS, Docker, and CI/CD automation.
• Strong knowledge of Postgres and familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).
• Experience with message queues, specifically Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Solid understanding of security protocols, encryption, and multi-tenant ACLs.
• Experience designing and optimizing distributed systems and database queries.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to balance speed versus quality in a fast-evolving development environment.
