Description

You will design and maintain scalable, asynchronous backend systems for real-time message processing and conversational AI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Python with async frameworks like FastAPI or aiohttp.
• Design asynchronous logic to handle concurrent processing, leveraging event loops and coroutines for real-time responsiveness.
• Develop RESTful and async APIs for conversational platforms, integrating with external NLP providers.
• Process high-throughput data streams in real time using Kafka or similar message brokers.
• Deploy and manage containerized microservices using Kubernetes to ensure reliability and scalability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, specifically with async programming patterns (asyncio, coroutines).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for orchestration and container management.
• Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Experience integrating with external APIs, including OpenAI and Dialogflow.
• Ability to design systems that maintain context and state across asynchronous message streams.
