Description

Build and manage serverless applications within an AWS environment, owning the full lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer serverless applications using AWS Lambda and CDK.
• Design and implement micro-services architectures with containerized environments.
• Build and maintain REST APIs using Swagger and OpenAPI standards.
• Write and execute unit tests using pytest to ensure code quality.
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application development.
• Proficiency in Python and unit testing with pytest.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, and CDK.
• Hands-on work with boto3.
• Experience with DocumentDB or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of CloudFormation and serverless administration.
• Frontend experience with JavaScript and React (ReactJS, JSX).
• Experience developing and using REST APIs.
• Proficiency with Docker for container development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node.js.
