Description

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications using Python, focusing on complex data manipulation and backend logic for a large-scale AWS platform migration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend solutions and complex data processing applications using Python Pandas.
• Deploy and support containerized applications using Docker within Linux and Windows environments.
• Monitor applications and troubleshoot production issues using observability tools like CloudWatch, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
• Participate in the full SDLC, including Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to implement robust business logic and data transformations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total software development experience.
• 8+ years of professional Python development experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Python Pandas for data manipulation.
• Strong experience developing and deploying applications on AWS.
• Proficiency with boto3 for AWS SDK integration.
• Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise platform migration projects.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as CloudWatch, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
