Description

You will build and support data-focused applications and packages within the data technologies team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python-based applications and packages independently.
• Mentor junior team members through code and design reviews.
• Apply object-oriented and parallel programming techniques to solve technical problems.
• Implement test-driven development (TDD) to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience with Python.
• Strong proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with NumPy and Pandas.
• Deep understanding of RDBMS, specifically SQL Server.
• Experience working with JSON and REST APIs.
• Solid grasp of object-oriented and parallel programming.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or ECE.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Django, Flask, or Tornado web frameworks.
• Knowledge of Anaconda environment setup and packaging.
• Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile, Git, Jira, Confluence, or BMC Control-M.
