Description

You will design, develop, and maintain 3D animation application testing tools and an in-house data management platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support capabilities for previsualization, layout, set dressing, and camera workflows.
• Clean, maintainable, and documented code with thorough unit tests.
• Collaborate with Pipeline and Microservice teams to ensure efficient data flow between applications.
• Work with artists to improve production workflows and interface directly with end users.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Python software development skills.
• Experience with Python test harnesses.
• Proficiency in object-oriented software design.
• Ability to balance quick turnarounds with long-term code quality.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VFX/DCC applications including Maya, Houdini, or Nuke.
• Professional experience within a VFX or animation studio.
• Experience with USD and its usage in feature production pipelines.
