Description

You will design and maintain data-driven backend services and applications using Python, Django, and PySpark.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST APIs and complex user interfaces using Python and Django.
• Manage R and Python environments across multiple virtual machines and build monitoring tools for data quality.
• Design database tables and manage data movement from SQL Servers using stored procedures and triggers.
• Collaborate with technical teams to manage security mechanisms and data access governance.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet QA and UAT guidelines.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Python and PySpark development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ within a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including S3, Athena, SQS, SNS, and IAM.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience working within the Hadoop ecosystem and Unix environments with Bash scripting.
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts, including multi-threading and multi-functional web applications.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development and JavaScript-based test coverage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing and packaging custom Python functionality using namespaces, environments, and data structures.
