Description

You will design and develop microservices within AWS cloud environments, optimizing system latency and throughput.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices using Python and AWS.
• Optimize network components to improve system latency and throughput.
• Provide technical leadership and accurate project estimates for the cloud engineering team.
• Contribute to the API toolkit using Django REST framework.
• Write unit tests to ensure software integrity across relational and NoSQL databases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience with a strong Python development background.
• Proficiency in REST API frameworks, including Django REST, Flask.
• Experience with data extraction, cleansing, and wrangling using tools like Talend, Informatica, or SnapLogic.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) as well as NoSQL (DynamoDB, Redis).
• Proven experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with automation and configuration tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and Agile processes.
• Knowledge of data modeling tools (ERWin, Enterprise Architect, or Visio).

Preferred Skills

• Experience building Python APIs via Flask or other microservices frameworks.
