Description

Build and maintain complex backend services and data processing pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services including message intake, processing pipelines, and REST APIs for frontend integration.
• Design and implement data manipulation logic for JSON, XML, and flat file formats.
• Develop and maintain Python microservices using gRPC and asynchronous programming.
• Participate in architectural, design, and product discussions within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Execute complex technical projects with a hands-on approach to coding and problem-solving.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Python application programming.
• Deep knowledge of Django, Flask, and Django REST framework.
• Proficiency with Pandas, Pytest, and exception handling.
• Experience with multi-threading and Asyncio concepts.
• Strong SQL skills with experience using PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of AWS concepts and CI/CD DevOps methodologies.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and gRPC services.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud services, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and in-memory databases.
