Description

Design and implement scalable backend services using Python and AWS serverless technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservices using Python, Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Develop event-driven systems utilizing AWS Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions.
• Manage infrastructure through code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Design and optimize data schemas for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Write unit tests and manage code deployments via CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Python 3, Object-Oriented Programming, and Design Patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures.
• Proficiency with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and CloudFormation.
• Experience with AWS Simple Queue Service (SQS) and Amazon DynamoDB.
• Practical knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and automated CI/CD pipelines.
