Description

You will design and implement backend systems using Python, focusing on complex data management and infrastructure automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend systems using Python.
• Manage and interact with diverse database systems, including SQL and NoSQL environments.
• Process and work with unstructured datasets to support data-intensive applications.
• Write unit tests using pytest or unittest to maintain high code quality.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Expertise with MS SQL Server, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
• Proficiency with Sybase, IBM Db2, or Oracle Database.
• Hands-on experience with pytest or unittest frameworks.
• Ability to implement IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience handling unstructured datasets.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
