Description

You will own the quality assurance strategy for data platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement risk-based test strategies covering test coverage and quality gates.
• Execute data quality tests, including schema verification and data integrity checks on ETL processes.
• Conduct performance testing, including load and stress testing against data pipelines.
• Validate access controls and data encryption to ensure security compliance.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and relevant testing tools.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in QA engineering.
• 5+ years of QA experience specifically focused on data platforms.
• Expert proficiency in Python testing frameworks (pytest, unittest).
• Strong command of SQL for data validation and complex querying.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman and Rest-assured.
• Experience applying performance testing using JMeter and Locust.
• Practical testing experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow) and ETL Processes.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD concepts.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes environments.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud certifications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
