Description

Lead quality engineering for Web and API applications through manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and execute manual and automated test scripts for API and Web applications.
• Develop Smoke, Functional, Regression, and System-level integration test suites.
• Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD folders to trigger automatically.
• Identify, track, and manage defects while communicating status to the project team.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to establish acceptance criteria from user stories and perform database validation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in manual testing, including requirement analysis and defect tracking.
• 7+ years of experience in API and Web automated software testing.
• 5+ years of experience using Playwright, Postman, and Newman with JavaScript.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Ruby for test automation scripting.
• Experience with Web UI and API testing.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with CI/CD integration using GitLab or GitHub.
• Experience documenting and executing manual test cases in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Ability to perform manual API integrated testing.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
