Description

Lead testing and automation for Java-based software and web services in an Agile environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and test web services, APIs, and integration code using manual and automated methods.
• Create, update, and maintain modular, reusable automated functional and acceptance test suites.
• Identify and prioritize regression testing scenarios and implement continuous testing workflows.
• Manage defect ticket lifecycles and produce weekly execution, failure, and defect metrics.
• Refine acceptance criteria during 3-Amigos sessions and maintain the traceability matrix.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience testing and automating Java-based software.
• Senior-level expertise in Cypress.
• Proficiency with Selenium, jBehave, Postman, and Cucumber.
• Experience testing RESTful and Micro-Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with XML and XSLT.
• Experience with messaging technologies.
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Experience with incident management tools, preferably ServiceNow.
• Strong background in Agile team environments.
