Description

Lead Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform operations and serve as the technical point of contact for application teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies for operational efficiencies and act as the technical lead for stakeholders.
• Deploy RHEL patches, platform updates, and manage software installations.
• Perform daily operations support, including problem isolation and troubleshooting of platform and application issues.
• Document all processes, procedures, and system configurations.
• Support the installation and troubleshooting of middleware applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x Platform Administration, including installation, configuration, optimization, backup, and recovery.
• 7+ years of experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting CPU, memory, networking, disk I/O, and access issues.
• 5+ years of experience working with Virtual Platforms.
• 5+ years of experience working with Ansible Playbooks.
• 3+ years of experience using Bash Shell and Python for automation tasks and deployments.
• Expertise in the Linux command-line environment.
• Experience with RHEL tools including Ansible, Satellite, and RHV.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
