Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and maintain RPG-based enterprise applications
  • Ensure system performance, scalability, and security
  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into solutions
  • Optimize and modernize legacy systems
  • Mentor junior developers and document technical designs

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in RPG IV / ILE RPG, RPG Free, CL, SQL, DB2
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with PTFs, system upgrades, and AS/400 administration
  • Knowledge of Turnover, JIRA, IFS, Robot Scheduler, Stored Procedures
  • Experience in retail, or distribution industry
  • Any Graduate degree

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Experience in modernizing legacy RPG systems
