Description

Lead backend development for RESTful APIs and microservices in a Unix environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and build RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop backend applications within a Unix environment.
• Integrate systems via APIs and build distributed components.
• Contribute to Agile projects within distributed teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Expertise in Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency with API Integration and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with at least one database (SQL or NoSQL, including MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Shell Scripting.
• Experience using Git/GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of performance and profiling tools (jProbe, jMeter, YourKit).
• Experience with AWS.
