Description

You will own the development, maintenance, and deployment of backend applications and RESTful APIs, with a focus on mobile integrations and observability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Ruby and RESTful APIs.
• Manage application lifecycles for mobile integrations and serverless functions.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications and serverless environments.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues using observability tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate technical concepts and solve complex problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing backend applications and RESTful APIs.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby, including Rack Web Server and PUMA workers.
• Experience with containerized applications and serverless functions.
• Proficiency in Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Splunk, New Relic, or App Insights.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems proactively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Firebase.
• Experience with Node applications and knowledge of mobile security practices.
