Description

You will build and maintain backend applications and RESTful APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Optimize application performance using PUMA workers and Ruby/Rack web servers.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications and serverless functions.
• Monitor system health using Splunk, New Relic, or App Insights.
• Collaborate on mobile application lifecycle management and security practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing backend applications and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Ruby and Ruby/Rack web servers.
• Hands-on experience with PUMA workers.
• Experience with containerized applications and serverless functions.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, New Relic, or App Insights.
• Strong understanding of mobile application lifecycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node applications using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Firebase, or AWS cloud services.
• Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
