Lead custom code migration and optimization projects from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring clean core architecture and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Execute custom code migration, remediation, and optimization for S/4HANA compatibility using SAP tools.
• Develop scalable ABAP solutions using ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDPs, OData, and S/4HANA-specific technologies.
• Drive clean core initiatives by reducing digital core modifications and implementing extensibility via SAP BTP.
• Guide technical teams in rewriting obsolete code and adapting programs to S/4HANA data models.
• Conduct performance tuning, code reviews, and quality checks to ensure compliance with SAP best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development across ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Strong expertise in custom code migration, including code remediation and simplification.
• Proficiency in ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDPs, OData Services, Extensions, and SAP Gateway.
• Deep understanding of Clean Core principles and experience with SAP BTP and Steampunk.
• Knowledge of SAP modules FI/CO, MM, SD, PP and their technical integration points.
• Experience in upgrade and transformation projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, or selective data transitions).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
