Description

You will own the full SDLC of complex SAS applications, from requirement gathering to implementation and testing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom SAS solutions, conversions, and interfaces.
• Develop advanced SAS macros, parallel jobs, and dashboards to automate data extraction and reporting.
• Manage data movement, confirming source-to-target mappings and loading data into target databases.
• Generate Oracle table structures, schemas, and open interfaces.
• Mentor junior programmers and coordinate end-to-end testing with the QA team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, or Programmer.
• Expertise in SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, SAS/ODS, SAS/SQL, SAS ETL, SAS-BI, and SAS EG.
• Hands-on experience with Teradata, Netezza, Hadoop, and Big Data environments.
• Proficiency in Tableau and Business Objects for dashboarding and reporting.
• Experience working within Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Working knowledge of DB2 and Oracle databases.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing complex technical specification documents and functional designs.
