Description

You will own the development, testing, and support of reporting platforms and system components. You will resolve defects, build reports, and maintain system stability through on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement system components and fixes using Base SAS and business intelligence software.
• Create Excel and PDF reports derived from business requirements documents.
• Execute component tests, track system defects, and participate in software design and programming reviews.
• Participate in requirements and design sessions while following standard change control and configuration management practices.
• Join a 24-hour on-call rotation to support the platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of advanced knowledge in SAS programming and administration.
• 5+ years of work experience in applications design and programming.
• 3+ years of experience with relational database concepts and SQL.
• Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
• Strong communication skills to interface with both business and technical staff.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the insurance industry, specifically within health care.
• Experience in system administration and on-call processes.
