Description

You will configure, program, and troubleshoot SCADA systems to ensure availability, reliability, and security across industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot SCADA components, including industrial LTE routers and low-voltage Real-Time Automation Controllers.
• Program communication paths for SCADA equipment with client engineering teams to ensure secure data flow.
• Perform data analysis and root-cause evaluations to resolve SCADA software component errors.
• Maintain system databases and spreadsheets to track SCADA data and generate reports.
• Collaborate with vendors, procurement, and project managers to manage equipment inventory and acquisition.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SCADA programming or testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories low-voltage Real-Time Automation Controllers.
• Hands-on experience with Digi LTE Routers.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of SQL or MySQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with MS Visio.
• Ability to perform fieldwork at industrial facilities with up to 20% local travel within NYC and Westchester.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
