Description

You will build and maintain core services using Scala, own the CI/CD pipeline, and secure REST APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core backend services using Scala.
• Design, build, and secure REST APIs, implementing OAuth2 and JWT.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize service and API endpoint performance.
• Own the CI/CD pipeline, leveraging Jenkins or Gitlab for automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy infrastructure using cloud technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Scala.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Hands-on experience with AWS managed services.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Experience with caching architectures, including Memcached or Kafka.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices using Jenkins or Gitlab.
• Knowledge of functional programming and reactive patterns.
• Strong understanding of unit and integration testing practices.
