Description

You will own the end-to-end vulnerability assessment and remediation process for Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot Qualys reports to identify vulnerabilities across Windows servers and workstations.
• Execute Windows hardening and manage patching via SCCM or WSUS.
• Coordinate with application owners, architects, and 3rd line support to mitigate and close security findings.
• Prioritize remediation tasks, prepare project schedules, and validate successful remediation.
• Validate false positives and present progress reports to stakeholders for sign-off.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in vulnerability assessment and remediation within Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience using Qualys for vulnerability management.
• Proficiency with SCCM for patch management and deployment.
• Experience managing MS Servers (Windows 2012 through 2019) and Windows client security (7, 10, 11).
• Technical knowledge of remediating vulnerabilities in Webservers, Office applications, SNMP, DB, NFS, Proxy, FTP, DNS, Bind, Java, and VMware.
• Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
• Ability to work on-site in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, following US time zones.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Experience in a professional services environment.
