Description

Own the test automation strategy, framework architecture, and performance testing for UI, API, and backend systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain reusable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend systems using Playwright, Selenium, PyTest, JUnit, or equivalent tools.
• Implement Page Object Model, Screenplay, or component-based design patterns to ensure maintainable and scalable test code.
• Build data-driven and keyword-driven testing capabilities to support complex business scenarios and integrate suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and execute performance test strategies including load, stress, and capacity planning using JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust.
• Conduct bottleneck analysis using APM tools and system-level profiling to optimize response time, throughput, and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on test automation and quality.
• Strong software development fundamentals in Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium for UI and API automation.
• 2+ years of performance testing experience using JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency with APM tools for performance optimization and monitoring.
• AI-native mindset with demonstrated experience using AI tooling for test development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed tracing, chaos engineering, and microservices testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of contract testing (Pact) and GraphQL testing.
