Description

You will drive quality engineering within a Scrum team using automated testing and agile principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for API and RESTful services.
• Implement ATDD and TDD methodologies to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with the engineering team through code reviews, pairing, and continuous integration.
• Execute performance testing and database validation.
• Apply design patterns and refactoring techniques to improve test suites.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development engineer in test roles.
• Strong Java development skills, including Core Java and OO/functional programming styles.
• Expertise with JMeter for performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and Protractor.
• Proficiency in Git, Sonar, Fortify, and HP ALM.
• Solid database querying skills with experience in MS SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience working in Scrum environments and following SDLC best practices.
• Knowledge of Rally or SpecFlow.

Preferred Skills

• Background in open-source involvement or personal technical projects.
