Description

You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and software utilities in Texas City, TX.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated tests, software tools, and regression suites for ongoing and future projects.
• Deliver accurate, maintainable code using test-driven design concepts to debug automated solutions.
• Mine and manipulate data to build test data for complex projects using PostgreSQL.
• Identify defects throughout the development life cycle and collaborate with project teams to prioritize testing efforts.
• Execute manual tests and document results when automated scripts are not applicable.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or development.
• Proficiency in Java and Java/J2EE, including Spring and Web Services.
• Experience with Cucumber BDD and Rest Assured.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Strong database skills with PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with GIT for source code version control.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux shell, Perl, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Experience using at least three of the following: jUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, ReadyAPI, or Rest Assured.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JS frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor.
• Knowledge of equity, options, and fixed income trading.
