Lead automation efforts and drive quality assurance across UI, APIs, and cloud-based dockerized applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automated functional scripts using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, and Citrus for Kafka messaging queues.
• Investigate and deep-dive into identified issues to facilitate rapid resolution by development teams.
• Write self-documenting, well-structured tests and produce traceable documentation in Jira and Wiki pages.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to groom backlogs, estimate effort, and identify dependencies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SDET roles using Java and Python.
• Proficiency with Selenium, RestAssured, JUnit, and Gherkin scripting in Cucumber.
• Hands-on experience testing messaging queues (Kafka, REST) using the Citrus framework.
• Experience with AWS Cloud, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting cloud-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and modern SDLC, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
• Practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Background working within Risk, Compliance, Finance, or Banking sectors.
• Ability to perform functional and integration testing on full-stack applications and 3rd party integrations.
• Experience using Splunk for monitoring and log analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Strong background in object-oriented programming and scripting.
