Description

You will own security engineering and operations within a large organizational environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security tools and oversee remediation for identified issues.
• Proactively identify threats and vulnerabilities, collecting and analyzing data to detect security incidents and ensure timely remediation.
• Identify, implement, and maintain controls and procedures to protect information system assets cost-effectively.
• Provide support and evidence collection for internal and external audits and risk assessments.
• Research, design, and lead the implementation of security initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in design, testing, development, migration, or integration within a medium to large organization.
• Operational experience with Vulnerability scanning, Incident Response, Monitoring, and Logging.
• Proven knowledge of core AWS products (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, ALB, WAF, Lambda) and AWS Iaas/PaaS Components.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks/tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Terraform.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Go).
• Proficiency in both Windows and Linux architectures.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Rapid7 -Nexpose, Tenable – Nessus).
• Hands-on experience with EDR tools (e.g., Tanium, C).

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading security initiatives in a large organizational environment.
• Background in designing and implementing security controls for cost-effectiveness.
