Description

You will lead and enhance the PKI program, ensuring alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements while driving security strategy and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of PKI and security systems to protect organizational information assets.
• Collaborate with system owners and IT stakeholders to provide PKI security strategies that align with long-term business objectives.
• Configure and install firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security mechanisms to safeguard infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain security automation scripts to track and handle incidents efficiently.
• Perform vulnerability testing, risk analysis, and security assessments to mitigate potential threats.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering and PKI management.
• Advanced knowledge of PKI design, implementation, and administration in AWS (KMS, CloudHSM, ACM, CloudFront, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail).
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Batch, JSON, Python, and YAML.
• Deep understanding of PKI protocols including SSL/TLS, HTTPS, and LDAPs.
• Hands-on experience with Certificate Authority (CA) implementation in compliance with Federal PKI (FPKI) standards.
• Expertise in HSM design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating Venafi with Microsoft PKI and public PKI providers.
• Knowledge of IBM Mainframe encryption (TKE, UKO, SGKLM).
• Experience with identity management, authentication, authorization, and HSPD-12 compliance.
• Ability to respond to security breaches and conduct forensic investigations.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, AWS Cloud Certifications, or CISM.
• Experience reviewing and patching Red Hat Certificate System source code.
