Description

You will provide security, system administration, and infrastructure support for cloud migration initiatives.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement security measures to protect networks, computer systems, and data from unauthorized access or destruction.
• Perform analysis of on-prem and cloud security, including architecture reviews and monitoring of security operations.
• Conduct proactive research to identify new threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
• Orchestrate testing processes, notify critical findings, and provide remediation recommendations.
• Develop Corrective Action Plans and manage POA&Ms to address security violations and compliance gaps.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering and infrastructure support.
• Extensive experience implementing NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, and MARS-E controls.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating system and application support.
• Hands-on experience supporting Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres databases.
• Deep knowledge of network facilities, data processing techniques, and capacity management tools.
• Strong ability to prepare concise technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing security software and hardware updates across enterprise networks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Archer GRC, Dynatrace, Splunk, Imperva WAF, Qualys, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of ITIL methodology using Remedy or ServiceNow.
• Experience training staff on information safeguarding and security procedures.
