Description

You will design and implement detection rules and policy logic to support security response use cases.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement detection rules and logic to identify security threats.
• Configure and fine-tune detection systems using SIEM, EDR, ITDR, and email security tools.
• Monitor and optimize alerts to reduce noise and increase actionable intelligence.
• Collaborate with Security Operations and Incident Response teams to enhance detection capabilities.
• Conduct gap analysis on current detection methods and participate in threat hunting activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or detection engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike and Wiz.
• Proficiency with Proofpoint and Tenable.
• Experience managing and utilizing ServiceNow.
• Practical knowledge of SIEM, EDR, ITDR, and email security toolsets.
• Ability to engineer detection policy and logic for specific response use cases.
• Experience maintaining documentation for detection logic and configurations.
