Description

Develop, design, and publish Power BI Reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI Data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizations.
• Implement security in reports and dashboards, ensuring compliance with access requirements.
• Integrate dashboards into applications using Power BI Embedded.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather requirements for Analytics and Reporting.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance while creating and modifying database tables and views.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics tools developing Reporting and Dashboards.
• Expertise in Power BI, M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, and Row Level Security.
• Strong SQL query writing skills, preferably with SQL Server, and experience optimizing queries.
• Experience integrating solutions from multiple data sources.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Azure AD, and the Azure ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrable understanding of security concepts, including access control and data security.
• Analytical thinking to convert raw data into relevant reports and graphics.
• Must have worked in a state client education department.
