Description

You will design, develop, and publish Power BI reports and dashboards, owning the full data modeling and visualization lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI data models and implement row-level security to ensure compliance with access requirements.
• Integrate dashboards into applications using Power BI Embedded and collaborate with Business Analysts to gather analytics requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues, tune report performance, and create or modify database tables and views.
• Recommend best practices for report creation and visualization design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics tools, specifically Power BI.
• Expertise in M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, and Row Level Security.
• Strong SQL query writing skills, preferably with SQL Server, including query optimization.
• Experience integrating solutions from multiple data sources.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure AD, and the Azure ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and demonstrable understanding of security concepts.
• Must have worked in a state client education department.

• Analytical thinking to convert raw data into relevant reports and graphics.
