Description

Lead day-to-day sensory and consumer testing operations for R&D innovation and renovation projects in Bridgewater, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily sensory laboratory operations, including weekly procurement of products and supplies for on-site tastings and evaluations.
• Coordinate shipments and deliveries with outside vendors and the pilot plant, ensuring proper documentation, distribution, and storage.
• Program sensory software and perform data clean-up for descriptive analysis and discrimination panel evaluations.
• Maintain records of attendance, performance, and feedback administration for descriptive and discrimination panels.
• Train support staff on good laboratory practices, sample preparation, and storage requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a laboratory or sensory testing environment.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Proficiency in sensory software programming and data clean-up.
• Experience managing laboratory logistics, including vendor coordination and supply procurement.
• Strong system organization and technical support skills.
• Ability to maintain detailed administrative records and project trackers.
• Experience training others in laboratory protocols and sample handling.
