Description

Configure and administer ServiceNow SAM Pro for software asset, license, and compliance management.

You will own the end-to-end configuration of ServiceNow SAM Pro, integrating it with enterprise systems like SCCM and discovery tools to maintain accurate asset tracking. You manage software audits and liaise directly with vendors to ensure strict compliance. You create custom reports and dashboards within ServiceNow to provide visibility into asset management. Your work requires integrating ServiceNow with external platforms such as Salesforce and GitHub using webhooks and handling rate limits.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer ServiceNow SAM Pro for software asset and license management.

• Implement integration patterns like webhooks and handle rate limits with systems such as Salesforce and GitHub.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience in IT service management or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Expert-level proficiency in configuring ServiceNow SAM Pro.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models, including per user, per device, and subscription structures.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
• Familiarity with software license management tools, processes, and best practices.
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure asset management patterns and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow Certified Application Specialist – SAM Pro or ServiceNow Certified Application Development – CAD.
• ITIL Foundation certification or higher.
• CSA M certification.
