Description

You will own the administration and continuous improvement of Software Asset Management capabilities within ServiceNow.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAM database integrity through ongoing gap analysis, workflow creation, and data quality rules for identification and reconciliation.
• Automate and scale SAM practices by integrating with ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB platforms.
• Improve model management, asset lifecycle processes, and Effective License Position (ELP) measurements for global IT assets.
• Build and maintain dashboard scorecards to report on ITAM health and compliance metrics.
• Provide data-driven insights to technology leaders to support hardware/software refresh policies and budget forecasting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software asset management or ITAM.
• Expertise in ServiceNow platform administration and workflows.
• Deep understanding of SAM databases and maintaining data integrity.
• Experience managing asset lifecycles and license management integrations with enterprise software vendors.
• Ability to implement and test code/modules in compliance with architectural guidelines.
• Strong proficiency in analyzing configuration issues and proposing technical resolutions.
• Experience with change management policies and IT governance standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional integration support between SAM, ITSM, and CMDB.
