Description

You will own system stability, observability, and release quality for distributed applications in Mesa, Arizona (remote eligible).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain application monitoring dashboards and performance reports.
• Analyze logs and traces to ensure complete system visibility and rapid incident response.
• Write production-grade code, conduct code reviews, and mentor internal teams on best practices.
• Drive technical initiatives independently while coordinating with distributed agile teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java, Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services: CloudWatch, X-Ray, Dashboards, and Alarms.
• Proficiency with Cassandra and Redis Cache for data persistence and caching.
• Strong observability skills using New Relic, DataDog, ELK Stack (Kibana), Splunk, or CloudWatch Logs.
• Experience with Git and adherence to structured coding standards.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Architect or DevOps Certification.
• Experience with Grafana, Tomcat, or JBoss application servers.
