Description

Design and implement end-to-end Snowflake Data Warehouse solutions, ensuring operational excellence and performance optimization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fully operational Snowflake Data Warehouse solutions.
• Build and automate data pipelines using modern cloud-based implementations.
• Perform performance tuning on Snowflake pipelines and troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Create dbt models for Snowflake environments and document technical specifications.
• Lead technical discussions and present proposed solutions to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 7+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and ETL development.
• 4+ years of experience designing and implementing Snowflake Data Warehouse solutions.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake internals, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and administration.
• Hands-on experience loading data from Azure and APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and RESTful API design.
• Expertise in star and snowflake dimensional modeling.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL data stores.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced experience coding UDFs, UDTFs, and Procedures.
• Strong background in Python.
