Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Snowflake architectures and data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake architectures and complex data models.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines integrating XML, JSON, and CSV datasets.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning and storage management.
• Manage and mentor a global team of data professionals using onsite and offshore models.
• Research and develop POCs to demonstrate business capabilities within the Snowflake ecosystem.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing.
• Expertise in Snowflake architecture and advanced SQL.
• Proficiency in data modeling, metadata management, and multi-dimensional models.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Strong understanding of data lakes and data warehousing concepts.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake (SnowPro Core or higher) and AWS Cloud (CCP or higher) certifications.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Qlik or SAS.
• Background in the insurance domain and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
