Description

Lead data migration and development projects, transitioning legacy Oracle systems to Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and migrate database objects including tables, views, and procedures from Oracle DB to Snowflake.
• Manage the full lifecycle of requirement gathering, solution design configuration, and functional specification delivery.
• Partner with managers to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Execute end-to-end data migrations and perform system and user acceptance testing.
• Own roll-outs and support tasks independently as a subject matter expert.

Required Skills

• 8-10+ years of technical experience in data warehousing and development.
• Direct experience with Snowflake development and Snowflake DBA tasks.
• Proven track record of migrating data from legacy systems, specifically Oracle DB, to Snowflake.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and ETL tools.
• Proficiency in Oracle DB and database object management.
• Experience in requirement gathering and solution design configuration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake Certification.
• Experience completing at least one end-to-end data migration implementation.
