Description

You will build and maintain data infrastructure on the Snowflake cloud platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
• Implement efficient data models optimized for specific access patterns and business requirements.
• Write and tune complex SQL queries to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Integrate Snowflake with external systems and applications using APIs and connectors.
• Manage ETL/ELT processes, data security measures, and monitoring systems to track pipeline health.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant data engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in the Snowflake platform, including data warehousing, data sharing, and time travel.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for complex data manipulation and query optimization.
• Strong experience with DBT and Python for data processing and automation.
• Proven ability in designing and managing ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Direct work experience with insurance industry data sets.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data quality checks, and governance practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) in depth.
