Description

You will design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for a cloud data platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines, data applications, and ETL/ELT processes for operational business intelligence.
• Analyze technical metadata, pipeline logs, and data lineage to provide operational insights.
• Define observability requirements, including SLAs, data quality, and proactive monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-native solutions and DevOps CI/CD practices.
• Apply best practices in data modeling and platform monitoring to elevate engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience in data engineering or data management.
• 4-5 years of application development using SQL and PLSQL.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with DBT, specifically using macros, custom schemas, and materialization details.
• 2+ years of experience building data pipelines using ETL and ELT tools.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake, including cluster keys and SQL functions.
• Advanced experience with Python and Python Pandas.
• Experience working in public cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD tools, and containers.
• Strong background in data modeling, process metadata, and observability.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Airflow.
• Azure or Snowflake training or certifications.
