Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud, owning the full development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, file formats, warehouses, streams, and tasks.
• Implement ingestion and continuous data pipelines using Snowpipe and related patterns.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL transformations and ELT logic; tune for compute efficiency.
• Contribute to data modeling and validation, ensuring data accuracy through reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects on end-to-end solution design and code reviews.

Required Skills

• 9–12+ years overall IT experience, with 4–6+ years hands-on Snowflake development.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake development experience, including object management and automation (streams/tasks).
• Advanced SQL development and performance tuning skills.
• Experience implementing ingestion patterns using Snowpipe.
• Knowledge of data modeling principles and data quality practices.
• Familiarity with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) implementation in Snowflake.
• Experience integrating Snowflake with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica Cloud, Matillion, ADF, AWS).
• Exposure to Python scripting or programming concepts.
