Description

You will design and develop scalable data pipelines and data applications for a Cloud data platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write ETL processes and design data applications for Operational Business Intelligence Marts.
• Analyze technical metadata, pipeline logs, and data lineage to support operational decisions.
• Collaborate with teams to define Observability requirements, including SLAs, operational needs, and data quality.
• Elevate technology standards and apply best practices alongside team engineers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience in data engineering or data management.
• 4-5 years of application development using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience with DBT, including macros and custom schema overwriting.
• Strong working knowledge of Snowflake, including cluster keys and SQL functions.
• 2+ years building data pipelines using ETL and ELT tools.
• Strong working experience with Python and pandas.
• Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer in a public cloud, preferably Azure, using Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Data Modelling, process metadata, observability, and monitoring data platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and containers in cloud-native solution building.
