Description

You will design and implement data solutions for the market risk platform using Snowflake and Power BI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions for VaR, sensitivities, and stress testing using Snowflake and Power BI.
• Enhance and maintain existing Power BI models and cubes to ensure data accuracy and performance.
• Migrate the legacy credit risk platform (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) to the new Snowflake/Power BI architecture.
• Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data into Snowflake.
• Collaborate with risk managers to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer or Data Engineer focused on Snowflake and Power BI.
• Expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling and query optimization.
• Practical experience with dbt for data transformation within Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Power BI, covering report creation, visualization, and DAX.
• Expert SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience designing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with market risk concepts such as VaR and stress testing.
• Ability to write high-quality Technical Scope documents and Test Plans.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS for legacy migration.
• Background in data analysis within a financial risk context.
